| The post holder should have thorough knowledge of the Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage and Birth to Three Matters framework. In September 2008 the new EYFS will be a single framework which brings together and replaces the Birth to Three Matters, and the Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage. Therefore the post holder should have a sound knowledge of the six areas of learning in the curriculum guidance for the foundation stage. The post holder must be able to write clear concise observations and assessments for the child’s development and learning, maintain efficient records and have good interpersonal skills, being able to work as part of a team. |

Skills:

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience with children aged 0-5 years, NNEB or Cache Diploma in Childcare and education, NVQ3 or Higher. The successful candidate must have experience in planning for Early Years Foundation Stage and Birth to three matters framework, setting standards for learning and development for children from birth to five |
